Review: This is an amazing book to learn how to draw fairies. I ordered this book as a gift for my niece but I think I could even learn how to draw from this! She absolutely loved it and is busy drawing and designing new fairies. I loved that there is a place to draw them inside the book and it starts off easy and you progress slowly throughout the book. I also loved that you not only draw fairies, you also draw “Fairy Dwellings”, their magical powers, musical instruments, clothing and accessories, and their different personalities. This truly is a one stop shop for anyone who wants to learn how to draw these mystical creatures.

There are pictures that show what they are asking you to design but it would be so simple to change little thing to make them more what you want them to look like. Plus, all these extra designs you can draw, for example the dwellings or musical instruments, can then be used to draw other things more easily.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book for anyone who loves to draw but isn’t quite up to par yet. I bought this for my 9 year old niece and she was ecstatic about it. She loves to draw and was excited for a new challenge, but this wouldn’t have to be a gift only for a child. I know many adults who would love this book. It’s never too late to learn how to draw! This would make a wonderful Christmas present for any “artist in training”.
